Surely you aren't suggesting that Chic Star change there styles because of your religious convictions? If you watch something on TV that you don't like, CHANGE THE CHANNEL. Don't like the clothes...shop somewheres else? |

All you had to do was lengthen the skirt by about 5 inches or more and enclose the neck area or at least raise the neck area by about 3 inches. This is nothing for seamstresses like you. Couldn't you cater at least half your dresses to the MODEST religious world? |

I totally agree with Dolly. Rifah designed the sleeves shorter and by changing the lenght it totally changes the whole look. I think the design was perfekt and shouldn't have been altered in any way. Anyway ,I ordered one in black and will comment on it after wearing it. |

I think perhaps if you purchase this dress (I'm thinking about getting the Black one) and the sleeves are too long you can cut them and then sew the lace back on. That will make them less wide and long. I prefer them shorter personally because otherwise it looks like the clothing is too big for you and when clothing looks the wrong size it can change the whole look and make you look uncomfortable - like if shoulder lines are in the wrong place or trousers legs are too long. Plus the length plus width of the sleeves means that unless you are careful and hold your hands up a lot, they are going to get dirty and need washing more frequently. |

We didn't change the sleeves length for this dresses because we found some customers would rather the longer sleeves, which is same as our velvet jackets. However, we will see the customer's feedbacks on this dress and will alter it in future production if it's necessary. Thank you all! |

can we see what it looks like without the petticoat? It makes no sense to take a picture of it of how it would LOOK with the petticoat, when the petticoat is not included. You should take a picture of it WITHOUT the pettiecoat so we can see what it REALLY looks like. Does that make sense? How will it hang without the petticoat? I LOVE this design. |

Now that I look at it again i think the sleeves are a bit too long, if they ended at wrist level with the lace showing on the hand it would be much more comfortable for the wearer. However, many might prefer them longer than the hands. It's still gorgeous though! |
